Green Padlock, HTTPS and SSL

That title is quite a mouthful and it sums up a few days’ work.

Modern browsers identify secure web pages in various ways such as turning part of the address green, showing a padlock and/or showing the https (rather than http) prefix.

The critical checkout pages on the Waterway Routes website have always been secure.  After a few days’ work I’m, pleased to say that all the pages on my website, including this blog, are now using the secure protocols.  The address bar on your browser should confirm that, although the exact display will depend on the browser and device you are using.

All links will be automatically redirected to the new secure pages, with all pages retaining the same address, but prefixed https: instead of http:
